Running calculations are a pain: speed to pace, pace to race time, intervals to total distance. These calculations are not difficult but they are time consuming and distracting.

Running Utilities will make these calculations easy so you can focus on what is important; planning and delivering your best workouts and races.

What to Wear - In locations with variable weather conditions, choosing what to wear for your runs is critical to enjoyable runs. This tool uses the current weather to provide recommendations on what to wear when you run. Even better, you can customize the recommendations based on your personal preferences.

Injury Log – When you are increasing your mileage it is easy to develop over-training injuries. Use the Injury Log to keep track of those nagging pains so you know when to push through and when to cut back.

Equivalent Race Time - To properly pace yourself during your races you must have a reasonable target time. This calculator uses a recent race time to provide an estimate of equivalent race time at different distances.

Interval Paces - This feature allows you to quickly calculate target times for your intervals based on user input pace. For example, if you are targeting 400m intervals at a pace of 7:40 min/mile, this utility will quickly indicate you should target 1:54 intervals allowing you to zero in on your perfect pace.

Total Distance - There are times when you need to balance the number of intervals you run with the total distance for the workout. This calculator lets you to quickly determine the total distance for your workout including warm-up, cool-down, and your interval session including both fast intervals and your recovery.

Pace to Race Time - This utility calculates race times based on user input pace. When planning for a race, I find it helps to tweak pace based on recent workouts, to get a better understanding of what race goals are reasonable.

Speed and Pace Converter - For those winter treadmill sessions, this calculator allows you to quickly convert between speed and pace.
